i-lipo

$200
For some of us, no matter how much we diet or workout, thanks to good old genetics, we simply can’t shed the weight in those trouble spots. Up until recently, many of us might have decided to simply live with these imperfections because fixing them cosmetically meant invasive procedures that require anesthesia, pain, and extensive downtime.

How many treatments will I need?

iLipo treatments are structured into courses of eight. Your number of iLipo treatments, however, is determined at your consultation and is based on your requirements and goals. We suggest two iLipo treatments a week over four weeks to complete a full course of iLipo treatments.

How far apart should each treatment be?

Eight treatment sessions are recommended, two per week for four weeks.

Do I have to workout after iLipo treatments?

Once the fat cells are broken down after iLipo treatments, the contents of the fat cells need a way to exit the body. If they do not exit the body within a few hours, they get reabsorbed by other fat cells. A brief workout immediately after an iLipo treatment ensures that the fat is excreted via the lymphatic system.

Why do I have to workout after?

Working out after your iLipo treatment gives the body away to metabolize and excrete the fat that is broken down. If you don’t do a workout after your iLipo session, you run the risk of the released fat being absorbed by other cells since your lymphatic system is not actively draining it.

How soon can I expect results?

Often iLipo results can be seen immediately and improve with every treatment. Over the course of eight iLipo sessions, you can achieve dramatic reshaping of the body and reduction in cellulite.

How long does one treatment take?

The treatment takes just 20 minutes followed by 10-15 minutes of infrared laser vacuum massage. The length of time for your post-treatment exercise to “burn off” the free fatty acids is determined at your consultation and is based on your requirements and goals from your iLipo results.

Is it safe?

Yes. Independent clinical studies have shown iLipo to be completely safe with no side effects. The iLipo laser simply triggers a natural reaction of fat cell release. The process does not cause any damage and cells remain intact, just smaller, giving immediate results. The iLipo Ultra is FDA cleared.

How long will results last?

ILipo results are long-term, provided your calorie intake and eating plan are stable, and you engage in regular exercise. Further iLipo treatments can be performed to correct diet indulgence or target another area of the body.

Where does the fat go?

Fat content is transported around the body to tissues where it will be “burned off” during a period of post-treatment exercise.

Is it suitable for everyone?

ILlipo can be used on both men and women and can treat most areas of the body except the female breast. As with any treatment, people with certain medical conditions should not use iLipo. We will go through a full medical questionnaire and consultation prior to treatment to confirm suitability. ILipo is not recommended for patients that are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a history of malignancy, or have diabetes.

How does it work?

The iLipo emits low levels of laser energy, which creates a chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and releasing them though channels in the cell membranes. The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy. This process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when the body needs to used stored energy reserves, thus iLipo is not creating any unnatural reaction in the body nor does it affect or damage any surrounding structures such as skin, blood vessels, and peripheral nerves. A period of exercise post treatment will ensure the complete metabolism and thus elimination from the body of the freed fatty acids.

Stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet, and keep moving! This treatment is an aide to stubborn fat and not an overall weight loss solution.

Avoid treatment if you are sick as this can impair lymphatic drainage. Lymphatic drainage is important for your best results.
Avoid consuming high-calorie meals within 2 hours of treatment as we want your body to burn fat vs. fuel.
